We are truly honoured to present the upcoming episode of Paraffin Podcasts featuring one of our most beloved contemporary sound artists, Gnork.
This special recording captures a live performance by Gnork and Zakhorov at Anto, Budapest, in April 2026. Far from a conventional DJ set, this performance is built entirely from original material, unfolding as a deeply personal and immersive live experience. The project moves through spaced-out chords, heartwarming Rhodes melodies, soulful vocals, MPC-driven house rhythms, tribal percussion, and expressive live instrumentation, complemented beautifully by Zakhorov’s live flute performance throughout the set.
For the 48th chapter of our selective podcast series, Gnork invites listeners into a sincere and timeless vision of underground deep house music, rich in emotion, groove, and atmosphere.
Revered among dedicated music lovers for his distinctive sonic language, Gnork has built an influential catalogue of albums and EPs that continue to shape the deeper corners of contemporary electronic music.
Based in Budapest, Hungary, Gnork stands as a defining figure within today’s underground electronic landscape. Known for his spacey and left of center approach, he has spent more than a decade crafting a sound that effortlessly blurs the boundaries between house, techno, ambient, and breakbeat.
Paraffin Tehran is deeply honoured to welcome Gnork to this special episode of Paraffin Podcasts.
We hope you enjoy this journey and allow Gnork and Zakhorov to guide you into their world of sound, rhythm, and emotion.
himself has a few words to share with all the lovely listeners: “This show was performed just one week after the Democracy wont over Autocracy in Hungry on the latest elections, so we were quite euphoric. I wish the people of the same feeling or freedom, peace and safety, also wishing you strength in these brutal, soul crushing, turbulent times.”
So from all of us in Iran we want to say thank you to .earth and for creating such a beautiful performance so we all can enjoy it today and dance to it, so we could feel a bit better about life because music is what connects us all.

This month’s residency at Netil Radio is different.
Azim was in Iran less than two weeks ago. He had just returned to London when everything escalated. His family is still there. And watching it all unfold from afar has been unbearable.
Azimdon’t usually speak much during his shows — he let the records tell the story. But this time, he will be on the mic.
Azim will be playing rare Iranian records — voices like Fereydoun Farrokhzad, Farhad, Shahram, GooGoosh, Ebi — alongside post-revolutionary and contemporary sounds from Iran. And he will be speaking from the heart, not about the tracks, but about what this moment feels like as an Iranian artist living between two worlds.
This one is personal.
