COLLAPSIBLE CORES: THE REVOLUTION IN INJECTION MOULDING
We promised you a solution to the challenges of unscrewing. Here it is: PlaSteel Group Collapsible Cores.

Instead of mechanically unscrewing the part—with all the well-known associated issues—collapsible cores offer a simple and ingenious operation:
OPENING – The moulded part remains engaged on the undercuts
COLLAPSE – The segments retract radially, releasing the internal thread
EJECTION – The part is ejected perfectly, with no tearing or deformation

THE TECHNOLOGY
Six or more external segments arranged around a central core. During the ejection phase, the movable segments slide along the central core, performing a radial movement that releases the moulded part.

Full 360° continuous internal threads
Square or oval threads
Multi-start right-hand or left-hand threads
Guaranteed precision: ±0.01 mm

Invece di svitare meccanicamente il pezzo (con tutti i problemi che conosciamo), i maschi collassabili hanno un funzionamento semplice e geniale:
APERTURA - Il pezzo rimane agganciato ai sottosquadri
COLLASSO - I segmenti si riducono radialmente, liberando il filetto interno
ESPULSIONE - Il pezzo viene estratto perfettamente, senza alcuno strappo

LA TECNOLOGIA:
6 o più settori esterni disposti attorno a un nucleo centrale. Durante l'espulsione, i settori mobili scorrono sul nucleo eseguendo un movimento radiale che libera la parte stampata.
