One of the most interesting Open Problems ... (don't tell us Wiles proof is acceptable for you? ... is not ... is arrogance ... opposite to God ...) is the Fermat Last Theorem, proposed by French Mathematician (forget he was an amateur) ...
x^n + y^n never can be ... z^n for n>3 ...
In fact, we agree with Star Trek Hotel Royal statement that the Theorem remains unproven ... but not for the 24th Century ... This is Absurd.
If you please note ...
3^2 + 4^2 = 5^2 ... or 9+16=25 ... which is Fermat Last Theorem for n=2 ... which is Pythagoras Theorem and is valid, but not yet fully understood.
We can also consider 3^3+4^3+5^3=6^3 ... So ...
