EMILE

On 22nd November, the Tampere team conducted in-service training for teachers on teaching critical online reading in primary education. Pirjo Kulju and Riikka Anttonen showed the participants the videos produced in the project. The videos were used as prompts to discuss ideas and experiences of teaching critical reading. Pirjo and Riikka also presented concrete teaching materials that teachers can use in their teaching. In the next phase, the teachers will carry out a small teaching experiment, the results of which will be discussed together.

On 17 and 18 November 2023, the Unifi team attended the Community Building Against Disinformation Event organized by the European Media and Information Fund.

Prof. Chiara Pecini and Prof. Christian Tarchi presented the objectives and the current status of the EMILE project.
