Beautiful weekend here in Vejer! Finally got back out to the beach, well…3 beaches this weekend and roman ruins as well!! Going to love living here!

So, I’ve had several people ask me what Menumé is, as I use it as a tag on the majority of my posts. Menumé is what lead us on this journey. It is a word we thought up to describe positive growth in ones life.

Menumé means “My New ME”. It describes personal growth and empowerment. It is used to define the changes one makes to improve life, be it their own or that of another. It is physical, spiritual, psychological, mental, intellectual, cultural and artistic. It is not a destination, but rather a mark along a journey to evolve, grow, change or mature.
Menumé comes from courage and describes courage. Courage to become a better version of ourselves than we were the day before. It is bravery to go forth and make a difference. It’s the celebration of that courage, of the changes that have occurred, no matter how insignificant they may seem.
Menumé is infectious. It radiates from one to another. It serves to inject positivity into a culture, community or group. It can create motivation to become a better version of ones self.

We are now happy to bring this reminder to your morning routine to keep your positive thoughts in the right place and encourage you to pursue your Menumé!
