A dialogue between art, architecture and contemporary textile craftsmanship.
In the magnificent setting of Palazzo Rosselli del Turco, home to , we took part in Florence for the second consecutive year, presenting a selection of projects that embody our vision of the rug as a medium for expression, material exploration and creative research.
Among them, a series of textile creations developed in collaboration with Brazilian artist , where artistic gesture, colour and texture are transformed into surfaces designed to inhabit and enrich architectural spaces.
Alongside these works, we also took the opportunity to introduce “Lari e Penati” to Florence, a project created in collaboration with the Roman architecture studio , which we first presented last month during Milan Design Week. The project explores the theme of duality through two faces that observe, complete and reflect one another.

The exhibition "Camini. Presenze domestiche nell’era post-tecnica", curated by .casicci and hosted at Spazio , explores how the presence of fire can be interpreted in the contemporary home. Held in conjunction with Milan Design Week, the exhibition presents a collection of new works born from collaborations between designers and companies, invited to engage with a domestic archetype that is only seemingly obsolete.
✨️Lari and Penati✨️
The roman studio , led by Enrico M. Turella and Chiara Celidoni, in collaboration with , presents "Lari and Penati", a textile design project that transforms the rug from a simple furnishing element into an animistic and relational device.
The piece is composed of two mirrored faces which, like the ancient Latin deities who protected the domestic hearth, watch over the private space, sacralizing the dimension of dwelling.
Through a palette of warm colors and rigorous geometric lines, the rug evokes the ancestral vibration of flame.
The profiles, defined by refined material research, stage a true “family theatre of storytelling”: the mirrored encounter of the two figures, separated by a central void, defines the field of human relationship.
The space between the faces becomes a place of dialogue where the individual reflects in the other.
Lari and Penates does not merely occupy a surface; it “responds” to the gaze of the inhabitant, transforming the floor into a stage of shared meanings and emotions.
