Resolvo in Tallinn for the 3rd Interregional Workshop of BETTI ✨

On 25–26 March 2026, partners and stakeholders gathered in Tallinn to exchange perspectives on policy approaches for trustworthy AI in the public sector. The meeting featured discussions on EU policy recommendations, practical insights into implementing the ALTAI tool with experts, and examples of good practices from partner regions🌍, while drawing inspiration from Estonia’s advanced digital governance model💻.

The event marked an important step forward in strengthening collaboration🤝 and supporting the development of trustworthy AI in public administration.

📍 We are in Labin, Croatia, to conclude the successful JETforCE project, funded by Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Programme, with the conference “From European projects to local solutions: Just transition in practice”, hosted by IRENA Istrian Regional Energy Agency during the Energy Transition Days in Labin (10–11 March 2026).

How can regions turn the Just Energy Transition from strategy into practice?

The event brings together policymakers, regional and local authorities, researchers and energy experts to discuss how European regions can build a fair, inclusive and sustainable energy future ⚡🌱

It is also an opportunity to present the results of JETforCE and exchange perspectives on energy poverty, accessibility and sustainable mobility. Contributions from academia, including University of Sjever and University of Zagreb Faculty of Architecture, and insights from the IT-HR SUMMA project highlight how energy poverty can also affect local transport systems.

During the visit, we also explored how IRENA – Istrian Regional Energy Agency is linking energy transition, education and local action 🎓, including a stop at Mate Blažine High School and a social housing building where JETforCE tools for investment evaluation were tested.

We are honoured to participate in the Workshop on S3 Implementation and Collaboration Potential in the EU Enlargement Region, organised by the European Commission Joint Research Centre in Seville on 24–25 February 2026.

Our Project Manager, Dragana Mitrovic, contributes as a speaker in the session on S3 collaboration potential, focusing on Western Balkans’ participation in territorial cooperation programmes and on how Smart Specialisation Strategies (S3) can be strengthened through cross-border, transnational and interregional initiatives.
The workshop brings together EU institutions, enlargement countries and regional stakeholders to exchange ideas on governance, implementation challenges, and collaboration opportunities across priority domains such as digitalisation, energy transition, and smart agriculture.
