๐ŸŒโœˆ๏ธ Travel More. Communicate Better. Learn English! ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง

Have you ever arrived in a new country and wished you could speak English better?

English is more than a languageโ€”itโ€™s your passport to new experiences, friendships, and opportunities around the world.

Imagine being able to:
โœ… Ask for directions with confidence
โœ… Order food without hesitation
โœ… Check into a hotel smoothly
โœ… Chat with locals and other travelers
โœ… Handle unexpected situations with ease
โœ… Create unforgettable memories through real conversations

Every new word you learn is a step closer to your next adventure.

๐ŸŒŽ Whether youโ€™re planning a dream holiday, a business trip, or simply want to connect with people from different cultures, English opens doors everywhere.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Remember: You donโ€™t need perfect English to communicate. You just need the confidence to start!

๐Ÿ“Where would you love to travel next, and what would be the first thing youโ€™d say in English when you arrive?

Letโ€™s continue

Part 2

Language is an activity, and to learn it, you need time and make mistakesโ€ฆ lots of mistakes. How can you allow yourself to make mistakes? Well, in the same way you allow yourself to fall โ€” easily. Just relax and start speaking.

Yes, a lot depends on the teacher: an experienced teacher, when faced with such blocks, will be able to find their own โ€œtechniqueโ€ for handling them. The usual companions of the fear of making mistakes are the fear to seem primitive, the fear of not being understood, or the fear of not do understand others

The phrase that I hear most often from my adult students after the first couple of months is: โ€œI speak like a three-year-old child! How can it be interesting to talk to me?!โ€ and so on

But actually, if you are able to explain something clearly to a three-year-old child using SIMPLE words, that skill is worth more than all the participles and gerunds in the world!

And as for โ€œnot being understoodโ€: in fact, the simpler we speak, the greater our chances of being understood, just remember it )))

Fear of Looking Foolish

This fear naturally follows from the previous one. โ€œIโ€™ll make a lot of mistakes, and everyone will laugh at me. Iโ€™ll look like an idiot!โ€

To be fair, some mistakes really are funny. Itโ€™s hard to keep a straight face when someone says, for example: I am like a sandwich.

But it makes a part of learning. We ALL make mistakes โค๏ธ

Will be continued

I often hear, โ€œI want to learn English!โ€ but โ€ฆ.โ€ฆ โ€œI just canโ€™t get it,โ€ โ€œI donโ€™t understand it,โ€ โ€œI have no talent for languages,โ€ โ€œI donโ€™t have the money,โ€ โ€œI donโ€™t have the time,โ€ and so on.

As psychology says, there is no such thing as โ€œI canโ€™tโ€ โ€” there is only โ€œI donโ€™t want to,โ€ often for hidden reasons, or โ€œIโ€™m afraid.โ€ And this applies to learning languages as well.

After I started studying psychology and language coaching professionally, the issue of internal problems and mental blocks became even more interesting to me to learn about. Moreover, I have had many coaching sessions with students in order to help them work through these very blocks.

Over many years of teaching English, I noticed that the root cause of the so-called โ€œdifficultyโ€ of learning a language is psychological barriers. There can be many reasons for them, varying from person to person depending on personal beliefs and mental โ€œframeworks.โ€ In children, these โ€œframeworksโ€ and blocks are most often established by parents, since children at a certain age do not yet have their very own view of the world.

Of course, new beginnings are always scary. This also applies to learning a new language.
The fear of looking foolish by making mistakes, or the fear of speaking with strangers or foreigners โ€” all of these can be confusing and create a real psychological block.
Letโ€™s try to understand some of these reasons.

๐Ÿ“Œ First of all, I would probably put the fear of making mistakes at the top of the list, because it greatly slows down the learning process for both children and adults. For some reason, many people think they must do everything perfectly at the first time and without any mistakes, but that simply does not happen when learning a language. Yes, IT DOES NOT HAPPEN. You cannot learn to run without first learning to walk. And remember (or just watch small children) how many times they fall before they learn not only to walk, but even to stand up on their feet.

We will continue to talk about it in the next posts

Stay tuned ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง

Homeschooling ๐Ÿ‘ญ๐Ÿ“š

What is it exactly?

Officially called elective home education, itโ€™s when parents choose to educate their children outside of the school system, as long as it is suitable for their age, ability and needs.
A recent report has shown that homeschooling is on the rise

๐Ÿ“Œ Why are numbers rising?
The increase has been building for years, but the pandemic was a turning point. Many families became more familiar with home learning during lockdowns, and for some, that shift stuck.

๐Ÿ“Œ Are there any concerns?
It depends who you ask. Supporters say homeschooling can work well, especially when itโ€™s tailored to a childโ€™s needs. But others point to gaps in oversight. That has raised questions about consistency, safeguarding and whether all children are getting the support they need.

๐Ÿ“Œ Whatโ€™s behind the debate now?
Part of it is scale. While home-educated children still make up a relatively small share overall, the pace of growth is prompting questions about the wider system. Some see it as a sign that traditional schooling isnโ€™t working for everyone โ€“ particularly around special educational needs provision and wellbeing. Others argue that stronger regulation or a national register could help improve visibility and support.
