Before entering the water, take a moment to complete your buddy check, make sure your mask and regulator are secure, confirm your BCD and weights are properly set, and review the entry with your buddy. When it's time to return to the boat, stay patient, keep contact with the ladder, and maintain positive buoyancy while exiting safely.

These simple actions may seem small, but they play a huge role in building confidence, improving safety, and creating enjoyable dives from the very beginning.
