I want to dot the i's, because the hypocrisy I see around today deserves a clear answer.
I've been pursuing my musical vision for eighteen years, alone. Eighteen years of going abroad, studying, listening, and coming back with sounds that no one here had the courage to propose. Back then, I heard everything: that my music wasn't 'adequate,' that I had to adapt to the mass mentality, that what I played was too monotonous or too strange. But I never took a step back. I never sold out my identity to please someone who didn't have the culture to understand.
Today, however, the tide has turned, and I see a scene full of hypocrisy. I see DJs who until yesterday snubbed me or pursued completely different genres, and who today, suddenly, proclaim themselves experts in what I play. They change genre every year, following the latest trend just to be seen, without having a foundation, without having the slightest knowledge of what they're putting out there. Flat.
​The difference between me and them is simple: I don't change my skin every season. My music isn't an accessory, it's my story. It's the result of almost twenty years of research and solitary endurance. I don't need to chase the latest trend to feel like a DJ, because I brought that sound here when there was a desert.
​I want to make it clear: I will never change. Those who appreciate consistency, sincerity, and true musical culture know where to find me. For those who live by trends and appearances, I will continue to be the one 'outside the box' who goes straight down his own path.
