There is something sacred about the moment you pull on a national jersey. Standing there last week, presenting the jerseys to the men and women of Kenya 7s ahead of the HSBC Div 2 tournament in Nairobi, the emotions came flooding back. I felt that familiar butterflies in my stomach. The nerves from the night before a tournament that every player knows so well. Though the results didn't go our way this time, it was an absolute privilege to be on that side of the handover. To the squad: wear it with pride, learn from this, and come back stronger.
