In the living room of Punta dell’Olmo residence sits the Free System sofa by Acerbis.

Originally designed in 1973 by Claudio Salocchi for Skipper, Free System reimagines the living area as a flexible landscape of seating. Inspired by the logic of the Japanese tatami, its modular elements can be freely combined.

For Eligo Studio, this project has a special meaning.

Working once again within the Via Muratori building was an opportunity to reconnect with an architecture they deeply admire and to continue a long-term dialogue with its values of clarity, flexibility, and material honesty.

A project that reflects the studio’s way of working: listening to what already exists and responding with care, precision, and restraint.
