DWA Design Studio

Over time we accumulated traces: drawings, photographs, materials, notes. Some of them still articulate our design language, while others have fallen silent. But each one, in its own way, has its place. This isn’t a story – there’s no order, no linear progression. What we have left is a succession of actions, or gestures. Someone once said that DWA lies in the interstices between those actions. And maybe that’s right.

The editorial graphic design by Milan-based LaTigre studio, founded by Luisa Milani and Walter Molteni, translates this complexity into a multi-layered editorial object.

The installation WEAVING ANNI ALBERS designed for the first collaboration with the brand Dedar for Milan Design Week 2025 within the spaces of the iconic Torre Velasca, Milan. The design translates Anni Albers’ research into a spatial system defined by metal structures inspired by the loom. Modular grids organize the installation, presenting the fabrics as constructed surfaces that reveal the complexity of their weave and the articulation of yarns.
