Kiklio stems from the idea that architecture belongs to the landscape. In the Gulf of Corinth, a private island spanning 146,000 square meters serves as the setting for a project that interprets luxury through discretion, silence, and respect for nature. Designed by K-Studio, the masterplan unfolds in harmony with the island’s topography. Local stone, rammed earth, and natural materials shape an architectural form that appears to emerge from the rock, allowing the sea, light, and vegetation to define the spatial experience. A main residence with ten bedrooms, along with guest houses, wellness facilities, swimming pools, dining areas, and sports zones, create a small ecosystem in balance with the landscape. More than just a property, it represents a way of inhabiting the Mediterranean.
A winner at the Future House Awards, the World Architecture Festival, and the AR Future Project Awards 2025, Kiklio stands as one of the most compelling contemporary visions of the relationship between architecture and nature.

On Mexico's Pacific coast, nestled in the Chamela-Cuixmala Biosphere Reserve, Cuixmala is one of the most iconic destinations for international eco-luxury. Originally the private residence of Sir James Goldsmith and reinterpreted in its interiors by Robert Couturier, the estate maintains a unique identity, where Mediterranean, Moorish, and Mexican influences coexist in perfect harmony with the surrounding nature. The heart of the property is Casa Cuixmala, with its iconic ochre domes overlooking the ocean, surrounded by villas, casitas, and bungalows nestled among beaches, lagoons, and tropical forests. Wellness, too, follows the rhythm of the landscape. Holistic treatments, yoga sessions, relaxation trails, and nature activities complement horseback riding, birdwatching, and extended explorations of the reserve, transforming the landscape into the true protagonist of the experience. The same philosophy permeates the cuisine, where many ingredients come from the property's agricultural activities, reinforcing a model that combines hospitality, sustainability, and ecosystem protection. More than a resort, Cuixmala speaks to an increasingly rare form of privilege: that of living in a place that has chosen to protect its extraordinary harmony.

On the Red Sea, Ummahat 9-3 by Kengo Kuma & Associates is built along the thin line separating the desert from the water, transforming dunes and coral reefs into the project's driving force. The villas on land follow the natural contours of the coast, while those on the water echo the fluid forms of coral colonies, creating a seamless relationship between architecture, sea, and horizon. Materials contribute to this quest for harmony. Spruce wood, clay plaster, and cedar shingle roofing interact with the climate and natural processes of the site, reducing the impact of the project and allowing sun, wind, and salt to slowly transform the surfaces over time.
Wellness also stems from the landscape. Spas, pools, and relaxation areas overlook the waters of the Red Sea, offering an experience that focuses on the relationship with nature and its rhythms.
More than a resort, Ummahat 9-3 represents one of Kengo Kuma's most coherent pursuits: dissolving the boundary between architecture and environment, demonstrating that, at times, the most intense presence arises precisely from the choice to become part of the landscape.
