We are happy to share the results of the final conference of the Erasmus+ project Happiness in Practice, a European journey dedicated to wellbeing, community resilience and shared happiness. 🌿💛

🌿 Transforming Challenges into Shared Happiness 🌿

On 7 july 2026, we held the final online conference of the Erasmus+ project Happiness in Practice: Positive Psychology & Community Resilience. 💛🌍

We are very happy to share that the event attracted 122 registrations 🎉, exceeding our initial target and confirming the strong interest in practical, accessible and community-based approaches to emotional wellbeing.

During the conference, we presented the main results of our European journey, including the activities carried out in Italy, Spain and Belgium 🇮🇹 🇪🇸 🇧🇪, the Happiness Toolkit 🧰, the multilingual project website 🌐, the Community Emotional Map 🗺️ and the growing Happiness Community of Practice 🤝.

The meeting also became a meaningful space for dialogue and exchange 💬. Participants from different countries shared questions, experiences and ideas on how positive psychology, empathy circles, storytelling, laughter yoga, theatre and non-formal education can support wellbeing, resilience and social connection in our communities. 🌱✨

All project resources are open and freely available 📚. We warmly invite educators, facilitators, social workers, organisations and community practitioners to explore them, use them and join the Community of Practice. 🤲

The conference also strengthened the sustainability of the project ♻️, ensuring that its open resources, Toolkit, website and Community of Practice can continue supporting wellbeing and resilience beyond the project lifetime, and can be used, adapted and shared in different local contexts. 🌍🌿

🌿📚🎶 **Happiness in Practice Concludes Its Activities in Valencia: Literature, Music and Community**

On Wednesday, 17 June, the Valencia Public Library (Pilar Faus) hosted the final local event of the European project *Happiness in Practice*, bringing to a close the activities developed in Valencia within the framework of the Reading and Health Clubs.

More than thirty participants gathered among the library’s stone columns to share a morning dedicated to words, music and human connection. Paco Inclán facilitated a dialogue around his books; Ángeles, Marisela and Alfredo shared their reviews; and Miguel Gracia presented his poetry collection *Poems for Mature Age*. The event also featured a deeply moving musical performance by Lola Bendicho (violin) and Antonio Morant (piano), as well as a poetry reading session that touched everyone present. 🎻🎹✨

One of the most meaningful moments came through the testimonies of the participants themselves, who expressed their satisfaction at having been part of the project. Many of them have joined the *Happiness in Practice* Community of Practice to stay connected, keep the relationships created alive and continue sharing readings and experiences. 🤝💙

Domingo Ferrandis (European Social Art) recalled an idea that has accompanied the entire project: we often confuse pleasure with happiness. Yet happiness is not a quick dose of enjoyment; it is something that develops slowly over time. It is related to attachment, compassion and care, to being at peace with the life we live and with what we do for others. 🌿

As the group concluded, happiness lies in love: in loving and being loved, in forgiveness, respect, gratitude and in feeling part of something greater than ourselves. 💛

The event concluded with Romà Seguí’s summer reading recommendations and a community lunch that celebrated what has perhaps been the most valuable outcome of the project: community itself. 📖🍽️
