Le Mans 24 Hours Report: Colin, Marty and Chris. LMP2, Split 10 of 28

Colin qualified the car in P2, initially dropping back from lead due to fuel saving, but after 7-8 hrs running we were back in p2 once fuel saving showed its benefit.

The lead car was very fast but were solid in p2, when that lead car was took out by an LMP1, we took over the race lead.

11hrs in while running p1 we tangled with a stationary car on the racing line, big damage resulted in over 40 minutes tome loss including 30min pit repair for a blown engine.

This dropped the team back to p9 in class, the over next 12 hrs pushed hard as possible to get back to p5 in class.

A rollercoaster 24 hours. Endurance racing never disappoints!

Unfortunately the Nürburgring 24 Hours is over for us. We took some early damage in an eventful start, and after some unscheduled pit stops we had a lot of work to do. With the damage the car was only capable of ~8.12 lap times in clear air - so it was a case of hanging on and seeing what the race brought us. We fought our way back to 8th as the night fell, but deep in the night a tangle with a TCR pitched the car into the wall and it was game over.

An unfortunate end, we will be back for sure!
