CH.OP. - the duo of Cosmo Dance and Whodamanny - return to deliver a new chapter of their analog-driven dance language on Mirella Records. Following their debut album on the historic Best Record label, the CH.OP. project comes back this time with a holiday-tinged single, My Best Friend, released on the Mirella Records catalogue.
Built around warmth, groove, and an unspoken dialogue between machines and emotion, My Best Friend reflects CH.OP.’s purest intentions: to explore rhythm as a living form, to make the floor breathe, and to connect people through sound. Each element feels carefully shaped yet deeply human - the pulse of friendship and creative trust translated into music.
This 7-inch release, pressed on red transparent vinyl, stands as a statement of authenticity. It’s not about spectacle or nostalgia, but about presence - a timeless moment captured in movement and frequency.

Christmas ornament with a metal heart included! 🎄❤️

☆ I Leros – My Best Friend (M.E.A. Sud, 1987)  • Dark synth pop straight from the Vesuvian hinterland. Acceptable condition – background noise present. Some scratches cause occasional clips and pops during playback. Good deal – priced at 70% below current market value.

☆ Gianni Coveri – Brividi... D'Amore (S.G. Record, 1990) • Includes an uncredited cover of Santa Esmeralda’s Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood.

☆ Angelo Cavallaro – Senasazioni (P.D.R., 1988) • Delightfully offbeat downtempo / Balearic oddity.

☆ Salvo Nicolosi – Lotterò Per Te (G.N. Record, Unknown year) • A Neapolitan take on the Italian dance classic Ride On Time by Black Box.

☆ Nino Ferretti – '88 (Gulp!, 1986) • Stripped-down cover of Grease by the Bee Gees!

☆ Luigi Pagano – Cik E Ciak (Toka, 1989) • Very rare record. Sleeve in excellent condition, though with a cut corner. Plays well, but noticeable surface noise at the beginning of both sides.

☆ Marco Sereni – Zitto...Zitto... (Gulp!, Unknown year) • Evocative and shadowy new wave / Italo Disco made in Naples.

☆ Tuccio D'amico – Ancora Insieme (Giesse, 1989) • Funny uptempo Italo-Disco

☆ Lino Latteri – Umorismo e Ballomania (M.E.A. Sud, Unknown year) • A cover-that’s-not-a-cover of Boney M’s Daddy Cool.

Michele Stile - Solo (Power Sound, 1991) • A smooth Neapolitan midsummer dream 🌃

The scarce information available about Michele Stile dates back to 1993, when he took part in the newcomers’ section of the Sanremo Music Festival. Introduced by Pippo Baudo, the singer-songwriter stood out not only for his music but also for his unusual background: he was a professional chef from Castellammare di Stabia.
