On December 4th, 2023, the PATH project team gathered in Padua, Italy, for our final Transnational Project Meeting, graciously hosted by Eduforma Formazione e Consulenza.

Key discussions focused on:
📌 Finalizing tasks and timelines for project completion.
📌 Reviewing outcomes and ensuring alignment with project goals.
📌 Addressing final management and dissemination strategies.

Hosted by our Greek partner, DIAS VET - Educational Organization & EU Projects, this event brought together all partners to further develop and refine the PATH platform... but not only!

🔗 We also took this chance to review the project's progress, which is nearing its conclusion.

🌟 𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞: 𝐀 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐃𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬 🌟

Did you know that school dropout rates are a significant challenge across the EU? 𝐼𝑛 2023, 9.5% 𝑜𝑓 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑔 𝑝𝑒𝑜𝑝𝑙𝑒 𝑎𝑔𝑒𝑑 18-24 𝑤𝑒𝑟𝑒 𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑙𝑦 𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑠, having completed at most a lower secondary education and not engaged in further education or training. This issue varies across genders and regions, with young men showing a higher dropout rate (11.3%) compared to young women (7.7%). The target for school dropout for the EU is 9% by 2030.

Our Erasmus+ project KA2, PATH, is dedicated to addressing this issue head-on. We are developing a comprehensive career guidance tool composed of 9 layers, focusing on personality traits, professional and personal interests.

🔍 𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬:
- 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐅𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: Empowering girls with information about career opportunities significantly reduces dropout rates, especially in regions where socio-cultural factors limit female workforce participation.
- 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: Hands-on vocational training and direct links to job opportunities keep male students engaged, providing a clear path from education to career.

📊 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐀𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
- Towns and suburbs: 10.6% dropout rate
- Rural areas: 9.9% dropout rate
- Southern Europe (e.g., Italy, Greece): Higher dropout rates compared to Northern Europe (e.g., Denmark, Sweden)

𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐬, 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭, 𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐛𝐲 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦 𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞. This effectiveness can be seen in the consortium Countries: when career guidance is performed qualitatively there is a dropout reduction. In Italy it is about 4.5%, in Greece 1.6%, in Poland 1.4% while in Norway it is 0.8%. To be noted that absolute values of figures in Italy are higher than the one of the others 3 Countries.

Hello everyone,

We're thrilled to share some highlights from our recent Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) held in beautiful Verdal, Norway 🇳🇴 , from the 26th to the 28th of September.

During this TPM, our project PATH: Professional tool for effective career development reached new milestones and accomplishments. Here's a glimpse of what we achieved:

🔍 We delved into the project's implementation progress, analyzing the state of the art to ensure everything is on track.

📚 We celebrated the completion of the first project result, a significant step towards our goals.

💻 We dedicated time to the development of our project website and platform, making sure it will be a valuable resource for all.

🎨 We're excited to unveil the new visual identity of our platform, a design that reflects our vision and mission.

📢 We also updated our communication strategy, ensuring that we can effectively reach and engage with our audience.

One of the most rewarding aspects of this meeting was reuniting with our incredible partners from Italy, Poland, Greece, and, of course, our gracious hosts in Norway
