MIME - Master's Degree ICT Internet and Multimedia Engineering - Unipd

Today, Dr. Daniele Ronzani, Research Engineer at Athonet guided students of the 5G systems course (prof. Tomasin) through a lab experience to simulate a cellular network and its connection with terminals. This is the second part of a short seminar given by dr. Ronzani and dr. Marco Centenaro, System Engineer Manager, to explain softwarization in the 5G cellular network, show the latest solutions of Athonet, and introduce students to open5Gs tools.

Students from MIME and the Data science degree together with their colleagues from Strategies in communications will present the major outcomes of their joint work on social and semantic networks applied to the more diverse contexts, e.g., the use of insults and hate in politics, the characterisation of pro-life and pro-choice activists, the recasting of the climate change agenda after the advent of Greta Thunberg, and also the perception of food recipes in different nations, drawing analogies between eastern and western cultures
