IST PLATINUMWOOL: From aerospace engineering to fashion, a journey through tradition and innovation in Japan
Our journey in Japan with IST PLATINUMWOOL continues! We're back in Hashima, this time to define the AW25/26 collection with a strategic head start, in addition to finalizing the SS25 collection.
2025 will be a crucial year for this project, full of challenges and opportunities that will take it to the next level. Working closely with the IST team is fundamental. Together, we are defining a product that, thanks to a meticulous strategy, integrates perfectly with marketing and communication.
But this trip wasn't just about work and design. We were fortunate enough to share moments of conviviality and immersion in Japanese culture with the IST team, creating a bond that goes beyond professional collaboration, a bond of friendship and mutual respect that enriches our work and inspires us to give our best.
Japan, with its ancient culture that blends harmony, craftsmanship and innovation, has always been a source of inspiration for Riccardo Rami Studio. It's not just a workplace, but an experience that has profoundly influenced our approach to design and our vision of quality. Here, we created and launched our own IMAR ENGINEERING collection, with its garments engineered in materials and construction, a project that marked an important milestone in our creative journey.
Today, we are back in Japan, this time to collaborate with IST https://ist-caretp.com/ , a company that has research and technological development in its DNA. IST has patented PLATINUMWOOL,
a “super-wool” with unique characteristics that place it at the top of textile natural fibers. A fiber that combines luxury, beauty and exceptional performance.
In Japan, technology is an art that blends with everyday life, in a constant pursuit of excellence. IST PLATINUMWOOL perfectly embodies this spirit, creating a bridge between cultural heritage and the future of innovation.
