A new feature at our stand at this year’s XYLEXPO is an area dedicated to panel samples processed using the most advanced edgebanding, sanding, and surface treatment technologies, as well as applications for windows, doors, flooring, and timber construction.

Among the projects on display is Re:Programming Wood – Material Recirculation through Data and Machines, presented by SDU CREATE at the University of Southern Denmark during the spring edition of Dropcity at Milan Design Week. The project explores the reuse of reclaimed wood for the creation of new architectural elements.
SCM, technology partner of Dropcity’s public carpentry workshop, supported the project’s prototyping activities with its 5-axis morbidelli m100 machining center.

The new exhibition corner is designed to give visitors a hands-on experience of what can be achieved with our advanced technologies.

𝗫𝘆𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗼 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗢𝗻𝗲: 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴
Xylexpo 2026 has officially opened at Fieramilano alongside Matec, the new exhibition format bringing together wood processing technologies, advanced materials, and the plastics and rubber industries.

At Hall 14, visitors can discover the new accord 500 edge CNC machining center, featuring an innovative edgebanding system for greater production flexibility in furniture and solid wood applications. SCM is also showcasing WinMES and IoT Solution, its digital platforms designed to turn production data into higher efficiency and productivity.

Until June 12th, the SCM stand will be a meeting point for customers, partners, and industry professionals exploring the future of woodworking.
