We thought we were talking about the sea,
but we were really talking about memory, grief, distance, freedom, and belonging.
Through the COLOR LAND workshop led by Mohammed Hadia (Biishos), students explored their personal connections to the sea through installations, textiles, movement, and storytelling.
Each work carried a different emotion: nostalgia, loss, healing, contradiction, hope, and the idea of freedom as both something close and unreachable.
Created within the Fashion Studies Master’s Degree Program at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.

We had the pleasure of meeting part of the OVS Group team to explore the themes of brand design and innovation in contemporary retail.
Through their insights, we explored how a creative idea becomes reality.
A central focus was placed on the challenge of sustainability: the importance of building a coherent supply chain with selected suppliers and the use of circular materials, such as recycled iron and recovered wood, to create impactful and conscious design.
