Where can you go to from Rome without renting a car taking a regional train?
This question I got from a Brazilian couple that I met in Assisi, as they bought a regional ticket for 3 days and wanted to take an advantage of it.

And so these are my suggestions for you:

•Tivoli, the beautiful medieval town with gorgeous Villa D’Este full of fountains

•Castel Gandolfo with the Pope’s summer palace and stunning view of lake Albano

•Orvieto with its magnificent cathedral

Of course you can also take a fast speed train and go to Florence or Naples, but there I would recommend you to stay for a couple of days😉

Visiting what was the province of the Roman Empire HISPANIA CITERIOR and admiring the greatest of the Roman inventions: the A Q U E D U C T

The Aqueduct of Segovia is one of the best preserved examples of the Roman aqueducts. I always mention it on my tours of Ancient Rome and finally see it with my own eyes!

My first time in LECCE😍
I knew that it was beautiful, but could never imagine how much❤️ no photos can describe the details and the richness of its baroque churches, I thought that after Rome it would be hard to impress me with the churches, but I was just overwhelmed 😊
And one more thing that I will remember of Lecce: PASTICCIOTTO😄❤️ with cream and cherry

COLOSSEUM? NO!
THE AMPHITHEATER of THYSDRUS, in the Roman province of AFRICA
nowadays city of EL JEM, TUNISIA🇹🇳

Colosseum is a nickname of the Flavian Amphitheater in Rome, but very often the name “Colosseum”, being the most famous amphitheater in the world, is used for other amphitheaters of the Roman Empire, including the one in El Jem, Tunisia.

So this one in Tunisia shouldn’t be called “Colosseum of El Jem” but the AMPHITHEATER OF EL JEM😉

The Colosseum is only in Rome😊 while all over the Roman Empire were built more than 200❗️amphitheaters.
Which of the Roman amphitheaters have you seen? 😉

НАBEMUS PAPAM!
