Plexus
Created by international husband and wife team. Plexus is a method and lifestyle.
When people see Jon training, they see the workout.
What they don't see is the journey behind it.
Jon comes from a direct lineage of Joseph Pilates — 3rd generation. He started as a kid in the 90s, long before Pilates became a trend. That foundation shaped everything.
Today he's an orthopedic physiotherapist, certified Pilates teacher, and co-founder of the Plexus Method — where 25 years of natural bodybuilding meets rehabilitation science and one of the most authentic movement lineages in the world.
Strength. Control. Precision. Functionality.
Not a program. A methodology.
After all of it, he's still showing up. Still learning. Still proving consistency beats quick fixes every time.
Not because it's easy.
Because it's worth it.
I'm turning 40 this year. And I've been doing this for a long time.
Honestly? I'm grateful. Not everyone gets to feel this way in their body at this age — and I don't take that lightly.
Something I can't unsee since I've been deep in this work: how much we all sit. The average is 164 hours a month. Help!!!
And then people tell me they're scared to lift weights because they don't want to look bulky. I want to debunk that right now. 2 to 3 hours of strength training a week will not make you bulky. It will make you healthy. It will keep your joints strong, your metabolism awake, your posture upright. That's it.
Research is clear — movement is one of the strongest predictors of longevity. Not just how long you live. How well. Muscle mass after 40 is directly linked to independence, cognitive function, and quality of life as you age. You're not training for aesthetics. You're training for your future self.
This is what Plexus is about. Not perfection. Not performance. Just — keep moving. Keep your body in the game.
You have more time than you think. And less than you want to waste.
The other day my daughter asked if she could join me on my run. Not because I asked her. Just because she wanted to be with me. 🥹
And recently my son had school holidays — the kid who loves nothing more than sleeping in — and the first thing he asked was if he could come to the gym with us.
I used to do what every parent does. Soccer, gymnastics, dance, basketball… you name it, we tried it. And none of it stuck. Not one thing. So I stopped pushing.
Because what I realised is that the most powerful thing you can do as a parent has nothing to do with signing them up for the right sport.
It's leading by example. Every single day they watch us move, they see how we feel, they see the energy it gives us. And slowly, quietly, they want that too.
So if you're a parent — don't stress about finding the right activity. Focus on the fun and the consistency of movement. Make it part of your life and they will make it part of theirs.
Teach them young 💪🤍

I often get asked:
“How long can you work out during pregnancy?”
My honest answer is simple:as long as you feel good. This photo was taken at 37 weeks, during my second pregnancy.I stayed active the whole way through — listening to my body, adapting, slowing down when needed, moving when it felt right. And still…
I ended up having an emergency C-section.
That experience taught me something important I always share with women now:
Movement is powerful. Preparation is wise.
But pregnancy and birth are not something we fully control.
You can do “everything right” and still need to pivot.
And that doesn’t mean you failed — it means you responded.
So if you’re pregnant and moving:
• Move to feel good, not to prove something
• Respect your energy day by day
• Strength is also flexibility
• Planning is great — being adaptable is greater
Your body is intelligent.
Trust it. Support it. Be kind to it. 🤍
Every pregnancy. Every birth. Every woman — different.
