Mr. Pablo Romero, the Early Stage Researcher hired by 7HC to carry out the activities of the European PARENT project (www.parenth2020.com), is participating in the fourth school of the project, which is taking place in Trento these days.
The fourth school of PARENT includes TRAINING activities (hard and soft skills) and covers topics such as reinforcement learning in AI, project development strategies from idea to market, psychological and social aspects related to employability.
The second part of the fourth PARENT school will develop a CHALLENGE, during which ESRs divided into two Teams will compete in finding a practical solution to a problem posed in the field of clinical decision support systems. The students will work to produce a decision support prototype by working as a team and bringing together all the skills and algorithms they have developed so far in their PARENT project researches. A panel of evaluators from industry and academia will assess the proposed solutions and score the submitted demonstrators.
