‘and wander was launched in 2011 by two designers, Keita Ikeuchi and Mihoko Mori, who worked together as designers at ISSEY MIYAKE. This brand was born of a strong passion of the two founders: for making
“fashion in the nature/mountains just as enjoyable as the everyday fashion”. We have been pursuing to offer sophisticated items with the blend of high-fashion style that stimulates the consumers’ sensibilities within the functionality and practicality of outdoor clothing.
Since we understand the pleasure of hiking in the mountains from our own experience, and wander items are made with durable, lightweight materials with water-resistance and wind protection, not to mention the unique coloring that harmonize with nature, yet, giving fresh impression in town. Based on our insights gained from the field tests conducted both in Japan and overseas, we have been creating quality items through a precise pattern cutting technique and practical design details that ensures comfort.

The 26SS collection focuses on the iconic Whiplash Curve of Belgian Art Nouveau.
Through F/CE.’s perspective, these fluid, organic forms are reinterpreted and reconstructed into contemporary functional wear.

This phrase encapsulates the core philosophy of the collection, articulating both its structural framework and conceptual foundation.
“Nature in Motion” refers to dynamic three-dimensional constructions and asymmetrical patterning inspired by organic forms found in nature.
Flowing lines, layered designs reminiscent of leaves and petals, and draping and cutting that resonate with the wearer’s movement embody this idea.

“Structure in Silence” represents a refined design approach that integrates functionality and architectural structure without overt assertion.

Forms built through firm materials and three-dimensional pattern making possess a quiet yet confident presence—structural in nature, but understated—offering high practicality for both urban life and outdoor environments.

Anchored in these two perspectives, F/CE. 26SS presents a new vision of clothing where nature, ornamentation, structure, and function coexist. Rooted in the aesthetics and philosophy of Art Nouveau, the collection rebalances beauty and functionality for contemporary living.
