Today, l will be writing to you on the theme :

WHY ARE YOU THINKING OF GIVEUP?

Luke 5:1-10 And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,
And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.
And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.
Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.
And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.
And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.
And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.
When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.
For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:
And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.

Life is in phases, this truth is synonymous to all men, irrespective of your location, genda and status.
Peter and his partners, are experienced fishermen but this night was fruitless and frustrating. The net caught nothing and they were washing their nets and parking up. THEY ARE THINKING OF GIVING UP.

Jesus Christ, the solution provider spoke to them as he his speaking to you today.

We all came to pray but before that, God is that you must believe and trust his words for your testimonies.

There are reasons people think of giving up. Here are a few examples, see them and build your faith to your testimonies in Jesus Name.

1. DON’T GIVE UP BECAUSE YOU THINK AND FEEL TIME IS RUNNING OUT ON YOU.

2 Kings 4:16
And he said, About this season, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a son. And she said, Nay, my lord, thou man of God, do not lie unto thine handmaid.
2 Kings 4:17
And the woman conceived, and bare a son at that season that Elisha had said unto her, according to the time of life.

2. DON’T GIVE UP BECAUSE YOU ARE GETTING ADVICE TO TRY ANOTHER ALTERNATIVE , IT’S THE DEVIL'S ALTERNATIVE.

Don't take short cut or alternative because facially it looks or sound alright. Allow God to lead you in such moments.

3. DON’T GIVE UP BECAUSE YOU THINK YOU DON’T HAVE THE RESOURCES NEEDED TO ACCOMPLISH THAT VISION.

Haggai 2:8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.
Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

4. DON’T GIVE UP BECAUSE PEOPLE THAT YOU ALL STARTED WITH SEEM TO BE AHEAD OF YOU.
God can give you speed to out run those that seem ahead of you. See this case.

1 Kings 18:45
And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel.

1 Kings 18:46
And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.

5. DON’T GIVE UP BECAUSE OF THE MEDICAL REPORT OF THE PHYSICIANS.

Isaiah 53:1 Who hath believed our report? And to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?

Luke 8:43
And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,

Luke 8:44
Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.

6. DON’T GIVE UP BECAUSE YOU HAVE CHECKED IT OUT AND IT’S SEEMS LOGICALLY HOPELESS, basedY ON WHAT YOU SEE.

Numbers 13:30-31 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.
But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.

Ruth 1:11-16 And Naomi said, Turn again, my daughters: why will ye go with me? Are there yet any more sons in my womb, that they may be your husbands?
Turn again, my daughters, go your way; for I am too old to have an husband. If I should say, I have hope, if I should have an husband also to night, and should also bear sons;
Would ye tarry for them till they were grown? Would ye stay for them from having husbands? Nay, my daughters; for it grieveth me much for your sakes that the hand of the LORD is gone out against me.
And they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother in law; but Ruth clave unto her.
And she said, Behold, thy sister in law is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods: return thou after thy sister in law.
And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:

7. Don’t give up because you have tried it before, you didn’t pull through.

Joshua 8:17
And there was not a man left in Ai or Bethel, that went not out after Israel: and they left the city open, and pursued after Israel.

Joshua 8:18
And the LORD said unto Joshua, Stretch out the spear that is in thy hand toward Ai; for I will give it into thine hand. And Joshua stretched out the spear that he had in his hand toward the city.

Israel was once defeated by Ai but they went back after putting things in order and they had victory over Ai.

The cases l have sited above are remarkable. You can trust God for your case and he will give you your expectations.
