Posted • Look who's back: Jennifer Hermoso marked her first Spain appearance since the Women's World Cup final with a late winner against Italy in the Women's Nations League. 'What better joy than to get back here and feel good again, to score the goal that gets the win – I can only smile,' said Hermoso, who came on as a substitute in the second half. It was Luis Rubiales' allegedly unsolicited kiss of Hermoso after the final in Sydney which sparked a scandal, leading to the resignation of Rubiales and the departure of the unpopular coach, Jorge Vilda. The world champions' new head coach, Montse Tomé, said Hermoso's winning goal in Salerno 'made us all very happy'.
