Have you seen it in St. Peter's Square?
The image of María Mater Ecclesiae looks out over St. Peter's Square from the Apostolic Palace. She watches the square since December 7, 1981, at the will of John Paul II, whose emblem and motto, Totus tuus (All yours), are sculpted at the base of the mosaic.
The history of this image is linked to John Paul II, who immediately attributed his salvation in the attack of May 13, 1981 to the protection of Mary. That is also why he resumed the idea, which a year before a student expressed, to place in the square, visibly, an image of the Virgin, which was strangely missing.
Regarding the subject, John Paul II requested a representation of the Virgin Mater Ecclesia, because - he said - “the Mother of God is always united to the Church and has always felt particularly close in the difficult moments of her history 😲😍🙏❤

A pyramid in rome? Yes! more than 2000 years ago it was built
The Pyramid of Cestius (or Pyramid of Caius Cestius, Sepulcrum Cestii in Latin) is an Egyptian-style pyramid, whose construction was completed in 12 BC.
The pyramid was built in just 330 days, perhaps even less. In fact Gaius Cestius expressly arranged in his will that the heirs would erect his pyramidal sepulcher within this period, on pain of losing the rich inheritance, as the inscription carved on the eastern side of the monument recalls: opus absolutum ex testamento diebus CCC # # #, arbitratu (L. ) Bridges P. f. Cla (udia tribu), Melae heredis et Pothi l (iberti). 😳😳😳😳😳

Not everything is old in Rome...
The Ponte della Musica-Armando Trovajoli is a bridge in Rome that overlaps the Tiber between the Della Vittoria and Flaminio districts; suspended between the Flaminio and Cadorna riverside, the bridge connects the Auditorium Parco della Musica, the park of Villa Glori, the museum of the MAXXI and the Olympic theater with the sports complex of the Foro Italico, the youth hostel, the green space of Monte Mario, the Genio museum and the RAI auditorium.
Made of steel and reinforced concrete, it is reserved for cycling and pedestrian use, as well as for public transport, inaugurated in May 2011 as a bridge of Music, two years later it was named in memory of Armando Trovajoli , assuming the current name.
