Are you a SISSA Alumni who wants to catch up with your friends and former colleagues, or a Ph.D. student who wants to know more about the world of possibilities that opens up after you graduate?

Then take part in this first-of-its-kind initiative from the SISSA Alumni Society!

FIRST IN-PERSON MEETING OF THE SISSA ALUMNI SOCIETY:
May 27-28
Trieste, SISSA

The program of the event:

FRIDAY
2-3:30 pm = mentoring program for SISSA students in collaboration with SISSA Valorization and Innovation. Students will have the opportunity to interact with mentors.
3:30-4 pm = coffee break
4pm = talk by Nicola Bassan (Fincantieri)
5 pm = talk by Daniela Tonon (University of Padova)
6pm = networking happy hour.

SATURDAY
10am = round table on Inclusion&Diversity
11am = two-hour meeting of the Assembly focused on discussing projects of the Society. After that… OSMIZA!
We will take care of the transportation to the Osmiza.

The talks, the round table, and the meeting of the Assembly will be in hybrid format, to allow only Society members to participate remotely, if needed.

Who can participate IN PERSON to the meeting?
- Society members
- Alumni non members
- Non alumni (i.e. who did a postdoc or an internship, etc.., at SISSA)

You can choose to:
- Participate only to the meeting (Friday afternoon and Saturday morning). Attendance fee (for members 5€/for non members 15€): includes coffee break and happy hour on Friday;

- Participate to the meeting AND to the social event (osmiza) on Saturday afternoon. Attendance fee + osmiza (25€ for members, 35€ for non members): everything covered for by the attendance fee + round trip coach to Osmiza and lunch.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Online pre-registration is COMPULSORY to attend the free trial lecture and the course itself, but you are free to drop out after the trial lecture.
We will ask you to confirm that you want to attend the course only after the trial lecture.
The level will be estimated based on the majority level of the interested people. If there are enough people, two courses of different levels can open.
Courses are made up of 10 lectures of 1.5 hours each, once per week.
Prices will depend on the number of participants.
