Wing Chun Kuen Study Group

Friday, April 10th, 2026

Three stood. Three trained.

We began with point training, then moved into our first form, Siu Nim Tao.

We built heat and stamina with jump rope and bag rounds, before settling into our second form, Chum Kiu.

We took up the focus mitts and drove through punches, steps, leg kicks, sweeps, and defences.

Mitts off. Gloves on.
We worked defensive drills and sparring games. Then, no gloves. The barehanded truth.

Wooden Dummy practice and Chi Sao followed. Banging. Rattling. Listening. Testing.

And we finished in silent standing.
Ragged breath, becoming smooth.

A great little Thursday session. 😊🙏🏼
