ITA> Bene, è passato un mese dall'uscita virtuale di "Fatto", il nostro quarto album ed è ora (come avevamo fatto già in passato) di presentarvi i brani.
Sì, perché la musica strumentale spesso ha come unico biglietto da visita il titolo. Chi ci conosce meglio sa che i Fratelli Lambretta hanno una tradizione di umorismo e goliardia che viene "srotolato" nelle presentazioni dei brani durante i live.
In attesa dei prossimi concerti iniziamo, da bravi padroni di casa, a fare le presentazioni.

Traccia n.1 - SURFING MURAZZI
Per i non torinesi urge una precisazione: i Murazzi (colloquialmente "i Muri") sono la passeggiata sulla sponda sinistra del Po. Si trovano in pieno centro a Torino e sono da sempre zona di locali notturni molto frequentati.
Il nome Murazzi per un torinese evoca subito:
- vita notturna
- piccola malavita
- acqua non proprio cristallina

Ovvio che un brano dalle sonorità smaccatamente surf, composto ed eseguito da un gruppo sabaudo, non può che trovare il giusto setting fra le pantegane, le nutrie ed i locali dei Muri.

Parlando di musica: ci piaceva iniziare l'album con un brano in cui il traino fosse la chitarra del nostro Dieghino, invece della solita egemonia dei fiati.
Gran solo di chitarra e attitudine.

ENG>Well, a month has passed since the virtual release of "Fatto", our fourth album, and it's time (as we have done in the past) to present the songs to you.
Yes, because instrumental music often has its only card in the title. Those who know us better know that Lambretta Brothers have a tradition of humor and goliardic spirit that is "unrolled" in the presentations of the songs during live performances.
While waiting for the next concerts, let's start with the first tune.

Track n.1 - SURFING MURAZZI
For those who are not from Turin, a clarification is needed: the Murazzi (colloquially "i Muri", translated: "the Walls") are the promenade on the left bank of the Po. They are located right in the center of Turin and have always been an area of ​​very popular night clubs.
The name Murazzi for a Turin native immediately evokes:
- nightlife
- petty crime
- not exactly crystal clear water

Obviously a song with blatantly surf sounds, composed and performed by a band from Turin, can only find the right setting among the rats, the nutria and the clubs of the Muri.

Speaking of music: we liked to start the album with a song in which the driving force was our Dieghino's guitar, instead of the usual hegemony of the wind instruments.
Great guitar solo and attitude.

Dopo le sonorità estremamente jazzistiche e patinate di Upbeat Basie i Fratelli Lambretta tolgono la polvere dal distorsore, recuperano il Moog dalla soffitta e vi regalano un sound molto più cattivo. Bergesatron non è solo un brano: è un personaggio, una storia, un'evocazione e una suggestione.
Un pezzo composto, come tutto il repertorio Lambretta, dal trombonista Alby Tbone Borio; questa volta però il nostro trombonista ha voluto omaggiare le sonorità dei cartoni animati giapponesi degli anni '70/'80 ed un loro grande fan: Daniele Bergese, sassofonista liutaio mezzofondista papà contadino bassista marito e gestore di B&B...praticamente un supereroe dei giorni nostri.

After the extremely jazzy and glossy sounds of Upbeat Basie, the Lambretta Brothers dust off the distortion, recover the Moog from the attic and give you a much more evil sound. Bergesatron is not just a song: it is a character, a story, an evocation and a suggestion.
A tune composed, like all the Lambretta repertoire, by the trombonist Alby Tbone Borio; this time however our trombonist wanted to pay homage to the sounds of Japanese cartoons of the 70s/80s and to a big fan of them: Daniele Bergese, saxophonist, luthier, middle-distance runner, father, farmer, bassist, husband and B&B manager... a modern-day superhero.
