πŸ”ΉA haiku is a traditional form of short, unrhymed Japanese poetry that consists of just three lines. It is celebrated for its ability to capture fleeting moments in nature or human experience through vivid, simple imagery. The poetic form is deeply rooted in brevity and conciseness. Traditionally in English, a haiku follows a specific, strict syllable count of 5-7-5. Line 1: 5 syllables, Line 2: 7 syllables, Line 3: 5 syllables.

πŸ”ΉMy version of the Ancient Egyptian haiku combines the Japanese haiku style with Ancient Egyptian Hieratic script and, most importantly, capturing fleeting moments in ancient Egyptian life and mythology. My ultimate goal is to create an ancient Egyptian haiku book containing 42 poems (reflecting the β€˜42 Negative Confessions’ of my previous book.

My Sphinx Sterling Silver Replica

The solid sterling silver ring is a replica of the rock crystal (possibly quartz) Sphinx Ring of the New Kingdom, Ramesside period, 19th -20th Dynasty, 1295 - 1069 BC. The silver ring was design in Rhino3D, printed and cast in sterling silver (925).

My Egyptian-Revival Sekhmet Brooch Cartier Replica

πŸ”ΉThis sterling silver and cubic zirconia encrusted brooch is designed as an Egyptian fan (or flabellum), centering a green faience-like bust of the goddess Sekhmet, depicted with a solar disc and a uraeus (cobra) upon her head, set against a naturally hand-carved lapis lazuli sky twinkling with cubic zirconia stars (displaying the constellations Orion/Osiris and the Big Dipper/The Indestructibles) bordered by repeating cubic zirconia set stylized lotus motif, all surmounting a stylized encrusted lotus blossom with black enamel accent.

πŸ”ΈThe back of the brooch fitted with a sterling silver plate, which has carved honorary title inscriptions of Sekhmet in Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs and English translation beneath:

β€œOh Sekhmet, I have granted you that power among all the gods, great is your wrath and is the awe of you among mankind. All lands are under your power.”
