Human hair enters the design field as material.

Now defined as a biomaterial, it is collected, processed and reassembled into surfaces that move between the organic and the unfamiliar.

Across garments and accessories, it introduces a new tactile language.
Intimate, unstable, closer to skin than fabric.

This is not a detail. It’s a material shift.

As part of our research into future denim trends, we identified a powerful emerging concept: the wave. The wave symbolizes movement, energy, and volume, embracing and challenging us with its shades of indigo and blue, evoking the deep connection between nature and human identity.

During this exploration, we discovered Takaturna, an emerging luxury Made in Italy brand that perfectly embodies this new denim concept. Their secret? The kinetic cutting method: an innovative system that uses a single piece of fabric placed on a moving body, studying the natural movements of human anatomy to ensure maximum freedom and fit.

Craftsmanship, functionality, and sophistication are expressed through jacquard denim made from GOTS-certified organic cotton, enriched with waves and spirals in a modern and exclusive design.

A special thanks to and for sharing their images with us, celebrating the excellence and creativity of Italian craftsmanship. Your contribution is invaluable in showcasing the innovation and talent of Made in Italy!
