Planning Approval | Field O785

We are delighted to share that Field O785, St. Ouen, received unanimous planning approval for 23 new affordable homes.

This project has been a long time in the making. The site has been earmarked for affordable housing since the 2002 Island Plan.

For our team, it has also been personal. Two team members are residents in the parish, and the site lies within Les Landes , an area with deep family roots for one of our own. That connection has been present in every decision: the contemporary farmstead vernacular, the granite gable detailing, the timber porches, and the pedestrianised communal space at the centre of the scheme.

We are grateful to have worked alongside , , and Michael Felton Landscape on this one, and to all the residents and statutory consultees who engaged so constructively throughout the process.

PLANNING SUBMISSION | Union House

The planning application for the conversion of this 1970s office tower into an 89-bedroom hotel is now in.

The proposals retain the existing concrete frame, add four new storeys to the northern elevation, and introduce a new restaurant and colonnade at ground floor level, bringing life back to a building that’s sat underused in the heart of town for too long.

A design that’s rooted in the original modernist character of the building, updated for how St Helier looks and lives today.
