Pride Month is a time to recognise the challenges still faced by many in the LGBTQ+ community and to show support for equality, acceptance, and human rights. Itโ€™s also a chance to celebrate the diversity of sexual orientations and gender identities that enrich our workplaces and communities.

Liberation Day 2026 falls on a Saturday.
This means that there is no alternate date (bank holiday) granted in lieu.

Whilst Liberation Day remains a statutory public holiday in Jersey, when it falls on a Saturday, it is not transferred to a weekday.
For those employees for whom Saturday is a normal working day, the usual rules for public/bank holidays remain in place.
