Family Life Ministries New Foster Care Programme

The For The Child Foster Care Programme is being implemented by Family Life Ministries in Jamaica, in partnership with the Child Protection and Family Services Agency (CPFSA) in Jamaica and Nairn Family Homes of Canada. The Programme model is based on the development of attachment between parent and child and postulates the notion that growth in children is achieved through attachment relationships with trusted, caring adults. Foster Parents are the primary treatment professionals and are enlisted as valued partners.
