Following his headlining set at California Roots Music and Arts Festival this past Sunday, Collie Buddz is celebrating major milestones across two defining projects, as Hybrid marks eight years and over half a billion streams. Featuring guest appearances from Russ, B Young, Dizzy Wright, Johnny Cosmic, Stonebwoy, and Tech N9ne, the album continues to stand as one of the defining crossover reggae releases of its era, while Cali Roots Riddim 2020 officially surpasses 300 million streams worldwide six years after its release. A longtime crowd favorite at the festival, Collie continued his annual tradition of handing out 1,000 Domino’s pizzas to fans during his set. Produced by Collie Buddz with additional production and mixing by Johnny Cosmic, Cali Roots Riddim 2020 brings together 21 versions from international artists spanning the U.S., Jamaica, Hawaii, France, Germany, and beyond, including Anthony B, Common Kings, Gentleman, and Jesse Royal, helping soundtrack road trips, festivals, late nights, and everything in between for reggae fans around the world. What began as a snapshot of a scene continues to grow year after year, highlighting the lasting impact and connection these songs have created across generations of listeners.
