Scripture: 2 thessalonians 3v1

Word: The most important thing we may do is pray for one another. We may speak of God, sing His name when we can, but prayer is something we can do not just for ourselves but for others. It is our chance to break bread in communion with our fellow man. For even if they know not that you are praying for them, to know that others may be praying for us is as much a comfort as an act of true compassion.

Prayer: Lord I wish to pray for all those around me, those who are doing Your work and those who need Your help. Grant salvation Lord, to all who have not yet found it, and grant compassion Lord, to all those who seek it under fear or danger. I pray for all these men and women, in the hope we may strengthen between us our spiritual bonds in Jesus name Amen.

Scripture: 2 Corinthians5v17

Word: Human life ends. Life through Christ is endless. Who you are now does not mean that is who you have to be later. If we submit to the Lord and believe, we can change from something that ends to something eternal.

Prayer: I want to be closer to you, O Lord, my God. Give me the courage to follow your word and believe in all the good that you have given to those of us that struggle to comprehend. Help me to comprehend and I will live everyday like that gift that it is. I will do this as your son, Jesus Christ, showed me, and it is in his name that I pray. Amen.

Scripture: Colossians 2v6

Word: Jesus is at the center of our faith not only because He simply brought us salvation but because He also provides us with a more concrete embodiment of our Lord God. Whilst God is with us forever, his power and depth also remain unfathomable. Jesus on the other hand, who may have departed His human flesh, left us nevertheless a human imprint of God's majesty through which we may better understand and worship Him. Through our human eyes, we glance up at Christ upon the cross, and through Christ, we see but the faintest and beautiful glimmers of what God in the beyond.

Prayer: I praise You, the only begotten Son Jesus Christ whose word was made flesh. I praise You Lord God for sending down Your salvation unto earth, with a message of peace and hope for each and everyone. Within the trinity I uphold your holy names, thy Kingdom done, thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.in Jesus name Amen.

Are you tired of trying to overcome sin on your own? Are you worn out from trying to be perfect, in your own power? Have you tried to be righteous on your own and found yourself seriously wanting? Here is the good news: you don't have to do this on your own. Jesus Christ paid the price for us, so that we could be saved from our sin, and so that we could also be partakers of the Father's inheritance. The life of Christ is an unburdened life, filled with rest and blessed assurance.

Prayer:
Dear God, I thank you for the rest and peace I have in you as a result of what your son, Jesus Christ, did for me. Lord, I have struggled with my sin and I have grown weary from trying to be perfect on my own. Thank you, Father, for removing the burden from my shoulders and helping me overcome my struggles. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesian 10v2

Word:
We are God's creations. He spent time and energy making us each unique and are all beautiful in His eyes. Choose what to do with your body wisely, because the Lord expended effort on it. Do not throw it away. Cherish the beautiful gifts that you have been given. Thanks be to God.

Prayer:
What a wonder it is to be alive, O Lord on high! Forgive me for taking this gift for granted. With each breath that I take, I want to love You a little bit more. With each passing moment, my body ages, and your creation crumbles a bit. However, with a sturdy faith, I will get closer to the day that we join each other in Heaven. I long for this day, my God, but vow that I shall not waste my time here on earth. Thank you God. I love You. Amen.
