Vickitini Beach Resort

Hmmmmm....

Vickitini started with a simple premise: Wouldn’t it be great if we could create jobs while having a fun time with family and friends? Sounds crazy, but it really is that simple. We started with a small grant from New Work City Foundation, a 501c3 charity with a mission to create jobs. When an anonymous donor matched the grant, we were off and running!

With our grant, we hired security guards, chefs, bartenders, servers, cashiers, setter-uppers, cleaner-uppers and decorators. We hired people to be greeters, valets, registration folks, 50/50 ticket sellers, dancers, musicians, fire dancers, stilt walkers, a magician and an emcee. We hired people to distribute flyers and posters, create a facebook and instagram page, , loudspeaker announcers and promotors. All of these ‘tini” jobs were funded by our grant and all proceeds from the current Vickitini FunRaiser will FUNd the next Vickitini FunRaiser where we will hire more and more people.

We think this just keeps getting funner and funner and we couldn’t be more excited to do our part to help create a sustainable economic impact on the West End of Negril, Jamaica. The people of Negril deserve our very best and if we all do our “tini” part, it’s a Win-Win-Win for everyone.
