The selected candidate will be required to motivate and evaluate his/her team to ensure that they work efficiently and effectively at executing their assigned tasks while remaining compliant with all regulatory standards of excellent warehouse operations.

 

KEY Responsibilities:

Optimize work flow by overseeing the effectiveness of warehousing activities through employee performance.

To ensure team members are appraised, engaged, trained and equipped.

To ensure working environment is maintained according to GMP, Safety & Housekeeping Standards.

To apply continuous improvement initiatives in all functional areas.

To manage with a view to meet ISO 9001, ISO 14000, ISO 18000 and FSSC 22000 standards.

Ensure that the Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems and the Environmental Management Systems are supported in accordance with the OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2004 standards respectively.

 

Requirements:

Excellent supervisory, administrative and coaching skills

Hands-on commitment to getting the job done

Excellent communication & problem-solving skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

At least tertiary level education in Management Studies or equivalent qualification

Minimum two (2) years’ experience in a similar role
