Learn Arabic In Jordan Modern Language Center

Students from the Modern Language Center (MLC) enrolled in the Arabic for Non-Native Speakers program went on a trip to the city of Al-Salt, where they experienced authentic Jordanian warmth and beauty.

They began their day at the home of a local woman from Al-Salt, where they prepared manaqeesh and Eid bread using natural ingredients. Then, they visited a traditional Salt family home, where they learned how to make handcrafted olive soap and enjoyed tasting homemade Jordanian dishes prepared by local women.

Throughout the trip, the students practiced Arabic with local residents, engaging in friendly conversations and cultural exchanges filled with laughter and kindness — a truly enjoyable and natural way to learn the language.

At the end of the day, they visited a rural farm, where they baked shrak bread, collected chicken eggs, and milked sheep before taking a scenic tractor ride through the fields.
The trip concluded with a delicious traditional breakfast made by their own hands.

Before leaving, the students explored Al-Salt’s old streets, visiting the Abu Jaber Museum, Hammamat Street, and Al-Khader Street, bidding farewell to the city with unforgettable memories.
