A Senior planning Manager/ Director, senior planner, or a planner; without site and field experience, and at least some construction management roles, is only a dreamer who is separated from the real work world, the planner who does not visit the site, interact with other roles supportive and directive such as quality, document control, site activities progress assessment, safety, is just a data processor, who waits to be directed by the Project manager/ director to accomplish some scheduling and reporting and may be other admin jobs (in this case the planner is not the only one to be blamed, the Project manager is the main responsible about this fatal project/ business error), the PM is to clearly distribute the job on the staff and to support the data flow and work interaction between the team members.
