أعلنت شركة ميناء حاويات العقبة، بوابة العالم إلى الأردن والمشرق العربي وما حوله، عن تعيين خوسيه رويدا رئيساً تنفيذياً جديداً لها، وذلك خلفاً للرئيس التنفيذي السابق، هارالد نايهوف، الذي تميز بقيادة الشركة خلال فترة توليه مهام منصبه.
ويشكل هذا التغيير القيادي خطوة استراتيجية مهمة في مسيرة الشركة، حيث إنها تأتي في إطار الجهود المتواصلة لتعزيز دورها ومكانتها كمركز محوري للتجارة الإقليمية والخدمات اللوجستية العالمية.
وجاء اختيار وتعيين رويدا بالنظر إلى خبرته الدولية الواسعة، التي تمتد لعقود في قطاعات الشحن وإدارة الموانئ والخدمات اللوجستية، والتي اكتسبها عبر عمله في أسواق متنوعة شملت إسبانيا، والمكسيك، وتركيا، وكوستاريكا؛ حيث أدار بنجاح محطات حاويات وموانئ ومرافق تشغيلية كبرى، إلى جانب التعامل مع تحديات وتعقيدات سلاسل التوريد ومعالجتها بكفاءة.
ويعكس اختيار رويدا تميز مسيرته المهنية الحافلة المدعومة بأساس أكاديمي قوي؛ حيث إنه يحمل درجة الماجستير في إدارة الأعمال من كلية EAE للأعمال في برشلونة، إلى جانب شهادات في العلوم البحرية والنقل البحري من جامعة البوليتيكنيك في كتالونيا، هذا فضلاً عن استكماله مؤخراً برنامجاً تنفيذياً في التفاعل المجتمعي والعلاقات العامة من جامعة أكسفورد.
وسابقاً لمهام منصبه الحالي، فقد شغل رويدا منصب الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة "إي بي إم تيرمينالز" لمحطات الحاويات الدولية في موين في كوستاريكا، حيث تولى آنذاك إدارة بوابة التصدير الرئيسية هناك والإشراف على عملياتها، مسهماً في تحقيق نمو ملحوظ في أحجام المناولة، بمنهجية قيادية كفؤة تميزت باعتماد نظام إدارة عمليات التحسين المستمر LEAN الخاص بالشركة ودمجها بأطر الكفاءة التشغيلية، ما أسفر عن تحسينات متواصلة في السلامة والإنتاجية ورضى العملاء. وإلى جانب كفاءته التقنية، فقد عرف رويدا بقدراته الاستراتيجية في إدارة العلاقات الحكومية والتواصل مع أصحاب المصلحة، ما مكنه على مدار مسيرته المهنية من النجاح في التفاوض على اتفاقيات امتياز رفيعة المستوى وبناء شراكات فاعلة ومستدامة.
ومع هذه الخطوة، تواصل شركة ميناء حاويات العقبة مسيرتها نحو المزيد من التميّز والابتكار، وسط توقعات بأن تشهد خدماتها تطوراً أكبر يعزز مكانتها كمركز تجاري رائد على مستوى الأردن والمنطقة المحيطة، بالاستفادة من الرؤية الاستراتيجية والخبرة التشغيلية الكبيرة التي يتمتع بها رويدا، في الوقت الذي يعكس فيه انضمام رويدا إلى فريق عمل الشركة، التزامها باستقطاب القيادات والكفاءات ذات المستوى العالمي، كجزء من التزامها بمواصلة دعم النمو الاقتصادي والازدهار للمجتمعات التي تخدمها وتعمل ضمنها.

Aqaba Container Terminal (ACT), the preferred gateway for the Levant region and beyond, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jose Rueda as its new Chief Executive Officer. Rueda succeeds Harald Nijhof, who has served the terminal with distinction. This leadership transition marks a strategic step forward for ACT as it continues to strengthen its role as a vital hub for regional trade and global logistics.
Rueda brings a wealth of international expertise to the role, with a career spanning several decades in the shipping, port management, and logistics industries. His global perspective is informed by extensive experience in diverse markets, including Spain, Mexico, Turkey, and Costa Rica, where he has successfully managed large-scale terminal facilities and navigated intricate supply chain challenges.
This professional background is supported by a solid academic foundation, including a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from EAE Barcelona and degrees in Nautical Sciences and Maritime Transportation from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, as well as recent executive education in Public Engagement from the University of Oxford.
Most recently, Rueda served as the Managing Director of APM Terminals Moin in Costa Rica, where he was responsible for managing the country’s primary export gateway and overseeing significant throughput growth. A key hallmark of his leadership is the integration of "Lean" methodologies and operational efficiency frameworks, which have consistently driven improvements in safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Beyond his technical acumen, Rueda is recognized for his strategic capability in government relations and stakeholder engagement, having successfully negotiated high-level concession agreements and fostered constructive partnerships throughout his career.
With his appointment, Aqaba Container Terminal is poised to continue its trajectory of excellence and innovation. Rueda’s strategic vision and operational depth will be instrumental as the terminal enhances its service offerings and reinforces its position as the leading trade hub for Jordan and the surrounding region. This transition underscores ACT’s commitment to world-class leadership and its ongoing dedication to supporting the economic growth and prosperity of the communities it serves.

احتفلت شركة ميناء حاويات العقبة بيوم العمال بمشاركة الإدارة التنفيذية، في فعالية جمعت الموظفين بروح من التقدير والانتماء.
حيث أكد الرئيس التنفيذي السيد هارالد في حديثه للموظفين أن سلامتهم تأتي في مقدمة أولويات الشركة ، مشيرًا إلى التزام الشركة المستمر بتعزيز بيئة عمل آمنة ومحفزة.
كما تم بهذه المناسبه الإعلان عن افتتاح استراحة الموظفين في مبنى العمليات وعدد من المرافق الأخرى الخدماتيه ، ضمن جهود الشركة لتحسين وتطوير الخدمات المقدمة للموظفين والارتقاء بتجربتهم اليومية في مكان العمل.
