MASOMO BILA STRESS PROGRAM LAUNCHED IN MANYATTA CONSTITUENCY

Today marked a major milestone as we officially launched the Masomo Bila Stress Program at Kairuri Grounds in Manyatta Constituency.

The initiative includes the issuance of
- KSh 52 million in bursary cheques for both day and boarding secondary school students,
-KSh 21 million for students in tertiary institutions,
-KSh 1 million allocated to special schools.

In addition, we rolled out the distribution of computers to 9 day secondary schools at a cost of KSh 6.8 million, a significant investment aimed at promoting digital learning and modernizing education in our schools.

The Masomo Bila Stress Program seeks to reduce the burden of school fees on families while creating a better learning environment for our students and teachers.

The new office will play a vital role in bringing government services closer to the people, ensuring faster response to community needs, enhanced coordination of administrative functions, and improved efficiency in handling public matters. Residents will now have better access to essential services in a more organized and conducive environment.

This state-of-the-art facility, complete with a fully equipped kitchen and secure storage space, will provide essential shelter for students during lunch hours while also serving as a versatile venue for a wide range of activities including assemblies, examinations, indoor sports, talent shows, drama and music festivals, guidance and counseling sessions, parent-teacher meetings, workshops, seminars, and community events.

The project represents a significant milestone in enhancing the learning environment and promoting student welfare, in line with the goals of the program. It reflects our continued commitment to creating safe, supportive, and empowering spaces for education to thrive.
