A Major Milestone for Football Development in Embu County!
We are proud to reflect on the successful conclusion of our Refereeing and Coaching Courses on Friday, where 65 referees and 30 coaches graduated after an intensive and impactful training program. This marks a huge boost for football development in Embu County.
Special appreciation to Referee FIFA Instructor Damaris Kimani and CAF Instructor Jackline Juma for expertly leading the training and equipping participants with valuable knowledge and skills.
We were honored and grateful to H.E. Governor Hon. Cecily Mbarire, EGH for gracing the graduation ceremony and helping award certificates to participants. We also sincerely thank the County Government of Embu for the collaboration and support that made this training possible.
This is a major step forward in strengthening officiating, coaching, and grassroots football structures across the county.
Congratulations to all graduates — the future of the game is brighter.

Yesterday, FKF Embu Branch officials joined fellow FKF executives from across the country, alongside the national executive, for the scheduled launch of the Kenya United Cup (KUC).
The event, which was to be held at State House and flagged off by His Excellency the President of the Republic of Kenya William Samoei Ruto, was unfortunately postponed.
Despite the postponement, the meeting marked a historic moment and provided a valuable opportunity for nationwide networking among FKF branch officials.
The FKF President Hussein Mohammed reaffirmed that plans for the Kenya United Cup remain on course and called for continued unity as the Federation works toward its objectives.
The launch has been deferred to a later date, with further details to be shared in due course
