we are excited to introduce children to digital literacy at an early age, helping them build the confidence and skills they need to navigate an increasingly in the digital era.

Our young learners are taking their first exciting steps in using computers. They are learning basic keyboard skills, typing, creating digital drawings, understanding computer functions, and exploring other foundational digital tools in a fun, engaging, and supportive learning environment.

These early experiences do more than teach children how to use technology—they build creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence that will benefit them throughout their education and future careers.

Every child deserves the opportunity to participate in the digital world, regardless of their background. By investing in digital literacy today, we are opening doors to endless possibilities tomorrow.

We were honored to welcome the Amala Education Global Manager for Changemaker Courses, Bespoke and Special Projects and Changemaker Coordinator MR to FOR COMMUNITY in Kakuma Refugee Camp for a strategic visit focused on strengthening our partnership and exploring future opportunities for collaboration.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to discuss our shared commitment to empowering young people through education, leadership development, social entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment. It also allowed us to reflect on the progress made through our existing collaboration and identify new areas where we can work together to create greater impact.

As organizations committed to unlocking the potential of young people, we recognize that meaningful change is achieved through strong partnerships, shared learning, and collective action.
We are excited about the next chapter of our collaboration with Amala Education and the opportunities ahead to co-create programs that equip youth with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to become leaders and changemakers in their communities.

🚀 Pilot Social Skills Training Launch!

In partnership with , we are piloting a Social Skills Training Program designed to help young people in kakuma refugee camp unlock their potential through coaching, leadership, communication, and personal initiative.

By strengthening social and emotional skills, we are empowering participants to build confidence, create opportunities, and contribute to a better world for all.

Today marks the beginning of our Social Entrepreneurship and Economic Empowerment for Positive Change course a program designed to equip young people with the skills, mindset, and confidence to create meaningful impact in their communities.

Through this journey, participants will explore innovation, problem-solving, leadership, and sustainable community-driven solutions. The course will provide a platform for young changemakers to transform ideas into actions that respond to real social and economic challenges.

At teach for community, we believe that empowering youth with the right knowledge and opportunities is key to building stronger and more resilient communities.
