Through our Digital Skills and Livelihood programs, 351 young people in Kakuma and Kalobeyei have transitioned from training into pathways for economic participation. This is more of a graduation milestone, a measurable investment in workforce readiness and income generation in displacement settings where formal employment opportunities remain limited.

Program delivery and reach:
• 281 youth trained in 2D Animation under the (Sanara), funded by the Mastercard Foundation.
• 40 Adolescent girls trained in Digital Marketing and E-commerce under the International Trade Centre (ITC). program.
• 30 Women equipped with Business Development skills under the LIFT One , Empower Two program supported by Global Wholebeing Fund.

But the value goes beyond outputs and return on impact includes:

→ Increased access to freelancing and remote work opportunities in the global digital economy.
→ Strengthened entrepreneurship capacity, enabling small business creation and growth.
→ Early-stage income generation at household level, contributing to economic resilience.
→ Improved confidence and agency among adolescent girls and young women, a key driver of long-term participation in the workforce.

In displacement contexts, where unemployment is critically high, investments in digital skills offer scalable and cost-effective pathways to livelihoods.

This model is designed to deliver:
