Today, i have commissioned 13 Development Projects in Kikuyu and Kabete Sub-counties. The projects i have officially opened include:
1. New Ultra-Modern Muthure Market.
2. Gitaru Road- Rehabilitation and renovations.
3. Kinoo Youth Polytechnic
4. Uthiru Youth Polytechnic
5. Thogoto ECD Facility.
6. Thogoto Youth Polytechnic
7. Dagoretti Market Road.
8. Acre Itano Kerwa Road.
9. Thamanda ECD Facility.
10. Muguga Karecheni Road.
11. Wangige Bus Park.
12. St. Tito Road.
13. Kingeero- Kinta Road.

Kiambu Government will continue to invest in infrastructure development and the reconstruction of essential public infrastructure which will boost economic growth in the county and ensure poverty reduction. We have embarked on various infrastructure projects whose cumulative effect is to accelerate growth and ensure we realize our goal towards a working County.

With the saddening state of laundry machines in the county hospitals, Kiambu County Government has procured 12 new laundry machines. Three machines have been already been delivered and are under installation at the Thika Level 5, Kiambu Sub county Hospital and Tigoni District Hospital.The rest will also be delivered subsequently. Kiambu County is committed to provide quality healthcare in safe environments and ensure we have high-quality, high-value health care facilities. Speaking at his office today, C.E.C health service Dr. Jonah Manjari has assured Kiambu residents that we will upgrade and equip all our public health facilities, recruit more health workers and embrace information technology in the delivery of health services. We also intend to improve the effectiveness and quality of care for patients so that all patients receive better care in the county.
