Yesterday evening, the deputy governor Kilifi County hon Florence Mbetsa Chibule, joined by the director governor's delivery unit-Kilifi county hon Fikirini Jacobs and the action Aid coordinator Kilifi County Lucky Mwaka attended the grand Launching of Kilifi County Comrades association at Kilifi, kibaoni social hall. The event brought together more than one hundred and fifty (150) Comrades from different universities but whose origin is in Kilifi County. The association is currently under the leadership of james kahindi who is the founder of this great initiative. Speaking at the launching ceremony, the deputy governor assured the Comrades of support from the county government in realizing their dreams, she also insisted that Comrades should find solutions to their problems and not commiting su***des, she gave an example of a lady who committed su***de yesterday at Kilifi bridge. On his side the director governor's delivery unit-Kilifi county hon Fikirini Jacobs challenged the Comrades to work hard in their different fields for the betterment of the society, he also asked the Comrades to wake up and start side hustles while at the universities to at least reduce the burden of pockets money from their parents. The action Aid coordinator Kilifi County Lucky Mwaka promised to partnership with the association to make sure Comrades from Kilifi County are empowered. The launching event was to give the executive committee the powers and courage towards achieving the goals and objectives of the association.
